Short answer

What most often makes texts weak and how to fix it. This guide sets out practical checks, examples and the limits of the recommendations.

Mistake 1: talking only about yourself

"We've been in the market for many years" can be proof of experience, but it doesn't explain what problem you're solving. In the first message, the reader should recognize his need. Check if the product and benefits can be understood without knowing the company. Leave the brand story where it helps gauge credibility, not as a replacement for the proposition.

Conditional editing: instead of "Our team offers an innovative service" - "Let's check the path from the ad click to the enquiry and determine where changes are needed." The second option is more specific, but you can use it only if this kind of work is included in the service. Don't trade truthfulness for clever wording.

Mistake 2: promising everything at once

Low price, highest quality, instant execution and maximum result in one sentence create conflicting expectations. Choose the main argument for a specific segment. Explain the constraints that affect the decision: term, configuration, availability, or settlement terms. Strong text doesn't have to sound like an absolute guarantee.

In the advertising of services, it is especially dangerous to guarantee sales without control over the product, the market and the processing of requests. Show the process, evaluation criteria and an example with context instead of an unconfirmed result. If KPIs are agreed individually, this should not be made into a universal public promise.

Mistake 3: replacing evidence with clichés

"Individual approach", "high quality" and "effective solutions" can be written about any company. Reveal what the phrase means: how the channel is chosen, which is included in the work, how the result is checked. The proof should relate to the exact argument you are using, not just be any number on the side.

  • Remove the adjective and ask: what is left concrete?
  • Replace the general superlative with an action, a condition, or an example.
  • Check the source of each number and its definition.
  • Do not call enquiries sales or hide the case-study period.

Mistake 4: adding length without benefit

Long text is not a problem in itself. The problem is repetition, complex constructions and clarifications that do not help solutions. In the short ad leave the main thing, on the page reveal the details. Don't try to fit the entire package table into one ad paragraph. A person should see the logic even at a quick glance.

As you edit, ask each sentence: What new information does it provide? If it repeats the previous one in other words, shorten it. If it contains an important condition, make it visible, not hide it with a small caption. Check the text on your phone with the visual and the button.

Mistake 5: Unclear next step

The "Start" button does not explain whether a person orders a service, opens a calculator or leaves a contact for a conversation. Name the action and result of the first step. After clicking, they should match the promise. If there is a consultation, do not frame it as an instant receipt of a ready-made strategy.

Check the consistency of the ad, page title, form and confirmation. An empty promise in a CTA creates unnecessary expectations for the sales team. It is better to have a specific and meaningful step than to "get everything for free" when most of the work is actually paid.

Editorial review before launch

Read the text without the logo: is it clear to whom it is addressed and what is offered? Check spelling, terms, pricing, links and rights for quotes used. Ask a third party to explain what happens after the click. If the answers vary, clarify the message first, rather than adding fancy words.
